Celebration! for Concert Band is a festive work of commemoration. Since the beginning of time, we have celebrated our beloved ones and our most special occasions with music and dance. This work brings together elements of different music and dance traditions from jazz to techno.
Three marimba solos articulate the three sections of the composition. From the vivacious outer sections to the slow inner one, different instruments from the ensemble are featured in evocative expressive solos.
